MODE Bridal is a well established and reputable bridal shop that has been dressing brides for over 9 years in its store in Hove. We have a beautiful sister shop Whyte Weddings in Worthing with over 18 years history of dressing brides; as well as our most recent addition to the group
- Whyte Weddings Chichester store.

We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a confident, flexible, energetic and highly reliable person who can work independently and interact with a wide range of customers to **join our Hove store as a part-time Bridal Consultant working Saturdays.**

The position is with immediate start (although we are happy to wait for the right person).

The person will be Hove based, but will be required to work from our Chichester and Hove shops, as well as attend occasional Wedding Fairs and evening showcases as and when required. **As such the person must hold a full and valid UK driving licence and have access to a suitable car; as well as be able to work every Saturday and on some Sundays and late evenings as and when required.**

**A good understanding and ability to use social media platforms for content creation, management and posting is essential.**

**Our mission is** to deliver amazing dress shopping experiences to every bride visiting our store; and we achieve this by celebrating our customers’ journey of being brides, building their trust, inspiring positivity and confidence and creating a memorable wedding dress shopping experience and ultimately helping them to find their perfect dress.

**We measure our success through** (a) achieving positive customer reviews on public platforms and customer feedback in other communication with us; and (b) achieving sale targets.

**Day to day tasks involve**:

- Interacting with a bride and her guests during appointments for a duration of typically 1-2h at a time in order to help them to find the perfect wedding dress, including dressing and pinning them into the dresses
- Being able to knowledgably advise brides on the cuts of garments best suited to their body shape, personal style and budget
- Taking brides’ measurements and accurately recording those details
- Filling in order paperwork accurately and clearly
- Taking payments in person, via telephone and online
- Placing orders and liaising with suppliers
- Keeping accurate records on our systems
- Generating in store social media content as well as posting and managing content on our social media platforms
- Looking after the shop to ensure it is always in a pristine condition including the arranging of garments and displays of accessories, window displays, keeping all the areas clean (including the non-retail spaces)
- Cleaning, repairing, steaming and ironing garments as necessary
- Any ad hoc tasks that may be required to ensure smooth running of the business. This is essential as the business needs often require person to go beyond the tasks listed above.

**Hours**: 1 day per week
- Saturday 9am -5:30pm total of 8h. **Some** **Sunday and late evening working to cover appointments and wedding fairs will be required and is an essential part of the job.**

**Salary**: up to £12 per hour depending on experience **plus commission**. Work related travel expenses between stores and to business events will be cover by the company.
