**About the role**

Hob Moor Oaks special school have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to cover teaching and learning responsibilities during teacher’s non-contact time. This a permanent position and is to work 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, during the school term time.

As a HLTA you will be passionate about teaching and learning and believe in developing the true potential of all our children. You will have a calm and positive disposition, the ability to break down activities into small step teaching and will nurture, inspire, challenge and motivate pupils. Implementing clear boundaries and routines, you will use behaviour management in all areas around school.

You will have the ability to build a good rapport with parents and carers and the wider school community.
