**Retail Assistant**

**Job Location**:Poole, Dorset (nr fleetsbridge)

**Job Type**:Permanent / Part Time

**Salary**:£11 per hour

**Hours**: 1 day a week - 6.5 Hours Every Sunday 9:45am - 4:15pm

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a friendly Retail Advisor to work with a leading company who design and supply interior products to both the B2C & B2B market.

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager and Customer Service Supervisor, you will play an important part in delivering excellent customer service and ensuring the shop is kept presentable.

**Key responsibilities within this role will include**:

- Being dedicated to delivering excellent customer service
- Dealing with customer needs and resolving any issues
- Pricing stock correctly and merchandising in line with Company procedure
- Making customers aware of product promotions and offers
- Assisting with unloading of deliveries and storage of stock
- Operating till, accept payment by cash, credit and debit card, cashing up
- Product Knowledge-Providing detailed information about our products to customers
- Replenishing Stock
- Keeping up to date with the latest products
- Keeping displays to the highest standard
- Ensuring the store is clean, tidy and well stocked
- Making sure shelves are well-stocked at all times
- Unpacking daily stock deliveries
- Compacting sorted materials eg. Cardboard and metal
- Keeping the store clear and ensuring any potential hazards are dealt with quickly and efficiently

- Previous experience working in a customer facing / retail role.
