Applications are invited for this vacancy in the Children and Young People's Services Division based in Royal Alexandra Hospital Rhyl.

The postholder will provide comprehensive reception, clerical and typing support for the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), demonstrating a courteous, professional and sensitive manner at all times.

A good telephone manner and communication skills are essential. A knowledge of the hospital’s Patient Administration System, is desirable, although training will be given. The ability to speak Welsh would be beneficial but is not essential. The post-holder will hold RSA Level 2 or equivalent. The postholder will be required to demonstrate a professional and sensitive manner at all times. By the nature of the duties, the Receptionist/Appointment Clerk/Typist post requires to maintain strict confidentiality and will be expected to deal with patients, relatives and visitors with courtesy and discretion at all times.
