**Location**: Selby College

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Learning Support Practitioner** **to come and work in our Additional Learning Support department at Selby College. The role of a Learning Support Practitioner will work with learners of all ages and provide appropriate support for students with a range of disabilities and/or learning difficulties to participate fully within their College courses and achieve their learning goals.

You will need to be able to develop and maintain effective relations with learners and teaching staff to promote learning. You will need to be able to contribute to the planning, preparation, delivery, assessment and evaluation of the learning process.

**As a Learning Support Tutor, you should**:

- Hold an Adult Learning Support Certificate at Level 2 (e.g. LADF) or equivalent in working with LLDD or youth
- Hold GCSE A* C / 9 - 4 in English and Maths or equivalent
- Have experience of working with students in need of support, including those with learning difficulties and/or disabilities
