An exciting opportunity for an EAL assistant, preferably Ukrainian speaking, to help our EAL students fulfil beyond their potential at Wrenn by supporting them in a range of classes in all year groups, and teaching basic English to individuals or small groups.

We are fortunate at Wrenn to have students from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures. Over the past few years we have seen an increase in the number of students who have English as an additional language, particularly from Ukraine and other Eastern European countries. These students often require additional support to enable them full access to the curriculum.

Pastoral care is important at Wrenn and our EAL assistant would need to be able to communicate effectively with parents/carers, as well as provide day to day support to our students.

Your well-being and professional development in order to enhance your career is a priority for us. We offer a mentoring programme, annual career stage interviews, bespoke CPD training, supportive action research projects, staff rewards and support for family events.
