An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Group Reservations Consultant to join their team.

The role is hybrid with core days to be in the Sheffield Head Office 3 days a week with core days being Tue/Wed/Thur.

As the Group Reservations Consultant you will play a vital role in supporting the event organisers, VIP’s and all other attendees with their hotel bookings and liaising with hotels for allocation, rooming list, reconciliation, amendments, and cancellations.

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- As a Group Reservations Consultant you will provide exceptional customer service to all clients
- Be the main point of contact for your assigned customers
- Build lasting relationships with hotels and their internal teams
- Ensure the CRM is updated thoroughly
- Deliver to agreed KPI’s
- Ensure all colleagues working on the same account deliver consistent service
- Track and manage all client KPI’s and ensure they are delivered in a timely manner
- Conduct client reviews, delivering strategic recommendations in a commentary format.

**Skills & Experience Required**:

- Proven experience of working within the MICE/ Hotel/ Travel industry
- Proven experience of working to strict deadlines
- Personable, reliable, outgoing with a positive outlook
- Experience in managing Clients, growing business and networking
- Self-starter and the ability to work independently
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, ExCel, PowerPoint and other similar tools
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent English writing skills
- 3 years minimum experience working with web-based travel software (GDS, NDC or API ect.)

**Salary**: £28,000.00 per year
