**Key responsibilities**:

- Assisting in the development and execution of social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engage the target audience.
- Creating compelling and visually appealing content, with a focus on video, for various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Monitoring and managing social media accounts, promptly responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Conducting market research and staying updated on industry trends to identify opportunities for social media growth and innovation.
- Collaborating with the marketing team to coordinate social media campaigns with other marketing activities, ensuring consistent brand messaging and positioning.
- Analysing social media performance using analytics tools to track key metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for optimising future campaigns.
- Monitoring competitor social media activities and industry benchmarks to identify areas for improvement and stay ahead of market trends.
- Supporting the development and implementation of social media advertising campaigns, including ad creation, targeting, and optimisation.
- Assisting in organising and executing social media competitions, giveaways, and other promotional activities to drive engagement and expand the online community.
- Organising and implementing campaigns, communications, and challenges through the app for all members.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including content creators, designers, and other members of the digital marketing team, to ensure the production of high-quality and engaging social media content.

**The Successful Applicant**:

- Ideally, a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field or similar qualification.
- Demonstrable experience in managing social media platforms and campaigns.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to create effective video and image content using mobile devices.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging and visually appealing content.
- Knowledge of basic graphic design principles, and experience with graphic design tools is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to analyse data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Positive attitude, team player, and willingness to learn and adapt.
