Buyer - East Grinstead - Permanent - £30,000 DOE
ARM are looking for a Buyer to join a family run engineering business in East Grinstead on a Permanent basis.
The Buyer will report directly to the Operations Manager and liaise with the project, manufacturing and installation teams within the business.
What you'll be doing day-to-day:

- Procurement and order progressing of all materials processes and mechanical / electrical services for the Company
- Ensuring all items are purchased at the best possible price and delivered in accordance with production requirements.
- Liaising with Customers regarding spares orders, including offering quotation where necessary
- Liaise with the project, manufacturing, and installation teams
- Supplier visits when required.
Your skills:

- 2 years Purchasing experience, ideally within an Engineering/Manufacturing environment
- Strong supplier management skills
- Good use of ERP/MRP systems
- Microsoft office skills, including EXCEL
- CIPS qualified would be beneficial
