Quality Management Specialist

**Location**: Southampton
This is an important role in ensuring the business runs efficiently and delivers exceptional customer service. Effective collaboration is required with all stakeholders across the business with a good understanding of all the AVASK services and support functions, attention to detail and good organisational skills.
The key activities include:
- Working with each Department/Group office to facilitate implementation and maintenance of all QMS procedures to promote consistency and quality in the delivery of all activities across the organisation.
- On-going management of the QMS to comply with the ISO 9001:2015 standard.
- Expand the QMS Scope to incorporate environmental ISO 14001 and information security ISO 27001 management in collaboration with SMEs in these areas.
- Expand the QMS Scope to cover all Group offices.
**Responsibilities**:
- Co-ordinate all quality activities across the business.
- Ensure high engagement by all staff in the QMS through news posts, training and other activities.
- To assist in the drafting of procedures and creation of flow charts in Visio in conjunction with each Department.
- To organise and facilitate productive Internal Audits of procedures.
- To maintain the documentation in the e-QMS.
- Ensure all non-conformances, risks and opportunities are captured and recorded in the e-QMS.
- Assist in problem solving activities.
- Drive process improvement.
- Assist in analysis of data for QMS performance review.
- Monitor progress to the Quality Objectives.
- Assist in the integration of ISO 14001 Environmental and ISO 27001 Information Security management with the QMS.
- Administration of HSE compliance.
- Co-ordination of the organisational training system to facilitate the roll out of procedures for all staff.
**Essential skills, knowledge and experience**:
- Degree in Business Studies or relevant discipline.
- 3 years+ relevant business experience.
- Excellent IT skills, ability to utilise the tools available and learn new systems quickly.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, able to listen and understand peoples requirements.
- Attention to detail.
- Knowledge and experience in Quality management systems ISO 9001.
- Knowledge of ISO14001/27001 an advantage.
