**Location**: Flexible working available, where you will be initially based out of our Penrith with home working available and some travel to other offices and sites

**Responsibilities**

As a Planner, you’ll be working within the Highways Major Projects, supporting projects in Penrith.

Your day to day will include:

- all aspects of planning, phasing, coordination and sequencing for tenders and live projects
- the incorporation of design, procurement and pre-construction activities into a fully integrated, logic linked programme
- timely and accurate progress updates, development and maintenance of the integrated schedule, and provision of time-related data and analysis

**Who are we looking for?**

This role of Planner is great for you if have:

- experience in a similar role gained on major projects with a main contractor or design consultancy
- understand and demonstrate knowledge of highways design and construction methodology
- able to develop survey, design and construction programmes based on agreed methodology
- good IT skills and experience of using professional planning tools such as Primavera P6, TILOS and MS Office
