Office based: Merseyside
Remuneration: £22,000 - £25,000neg + monthly bonus, OTE circa £30,000

The role of the Sales Executive - Steel Stockholder will involve:

- Office based sales executive position selling a range of mild steel products such as: plates, bars, beams, columns, tubes, mesh panels, angles and flooring
- Selling to fabricators, contractors, trade, end users and bespoke manufacturers
- Responsible for developing new and existing accounts within a specific geographical area, maintaining consistent weekly contact
- Dealing with enquiries and processing orders
- Generate new business via inbound and outbound calls
- Produce and follow up on quotations
- Maintaining accurate records of customers activity and produce reports
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
- Upselling and cross selling where possible, maximising all opportunities
- Assist other members of the sales team with workload requirements when necessary and any admin responsibilities
- Targeted to bring on at least 1 new customer a month
- Full training will be provided

The ideal applicant will be Sales Executive - Steel Stockholder with:

- Must have experience within a sales/customer facing role
- Commercial and industry awareness would be advantageous
- Excellent customer service skills
- Pro-active approach to your work and a genuine care about the role
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work within a small team and drive sales
- Enthusiastic, persistent, confident and driven
- Computer literate
