Do you have Material Planning experience, and are you looking for a new opportunity in Desford, Leicestershire? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping one of the world’s leading manufacturers of off-highway machinery and diesel and natural gas engines recruit a Material Planner/Customer Support Analyst, and the role comes with a contract rate of £21 per hour - Inside IR35

As a Material Planner, you will deliver and enhance customer satisfaction by assisting customers with orders/queries and the timely receipt of product whilst also driving incremental sales with the assigned customer base. You will strive to achieve maximum customer service, minimum inventory investment and efficient material flow to increase availability and provide assurance of supply for our customers, whilst keeping premium freight to a minimum spend.

To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:

- Act as the business's initial interface with customers, ensuring relationships are developed and queries resolved with pace.
- Manage customer orders.
- Establish the priority of material needs, expedites and de-expedites as required.
- Identify and resolve future risks for customers' production.
- Ability to thrive under pressure, in a busy work environment with high expectations.
- Looking for a good communicator who is confident in working with suppliers and customers and adapt their approach depending on who they are engaging with.
- Analytical intelligence: being able to anticipate that issues don’t arise by identifying risks and challenges.
- Analytical problem-solver & root cause analysis skills.
- Proficiency in Excel - pivot tables & vlookup.
