Our client is a well-established and successful manufacturer with a global presence. They are recruiting for a Continuous Improvement Co-ordinator / CI Coordinator to join their team.

**Location - Chippenham.**

**Hours of work: 8.00am - 4.00pm, Monday to Friday.**

**Salary £45k-£53k depending on experience.**

The main purpose of this senior management role is to drive the Continuous Improvement culture and activities across their operation, enhancing operational performance by deploying a Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

The CI Co-ordinator leads the development of local CI capability, delivering results and performance measures through people and data driven metrics and activities.

Playing a major role in deploying of various lean tools and techniques, this role will embed culture and mindset of operational excellence across the manufacturing site. Other aspects of the role include:

- Developing the CI strategy for the Chippenham Site in conjunction with the Site Manager and deploy improvement plans.
- Facilitate Project Selection Workshops, owning and administering the CI project pipeline.
- Undertake DMAIC projects to address significant, complex issues.
- Train employees in CI tools and techniques.
- Coaching and mentoring the local team to carry out improvement projects and events.
- Manage and coordinate the monthly reporting of the impact from the CI Projects activity.

**Requirements**:

- You will hold a relevant CI qualification, or preferably a Six Sigma Black Belt.
- Track record of achievement in continuous improvement in a similar CI role (e.g. CI Coordinator / CI Manager).
- Strong data manipulation experience through Microsoft packages will be advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentational communication skills.
- Excellent time and project management skills.
- Effective organisational skills.
- Ability to communicate with personnel at all levels.
