**Role: Junior CDM Advisor**

**Location: Edgbaston**

**Salary: £30,000**

Carriera are working closely with a H&S team in Edgbaston to find a gradute/Junior Level H&S/CDM advisor who is looking to take thier first steps into a thriving sector. This is a role ideally suited to an ambitious, driven individual wanting to learn and progress in a H&S role. You will have a strong motivation for knowledge and personal development. Ability to work individually and within a team, manage your own workload and calendar.

service delivery includes the writing of CDM documentation and procedures, carrying out nationwide site inspections and audits, engaging directly with contractors and site management to support, educate and ensure H&S compliance.

You will be required to support senior members fulfil the role of CDM Advisor/Principal Designer for a well-known hotel and hospitality provider in the UK.

Experience And Skills
- A health and safety qualification such as a NEBOSH Certificate would be an advantage but not essential.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a car.
- An understanding of the CDM regulations 2015.
- Construction background/experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to effectively cooperate and deal with wide range of internal and external relationships.
- An excellent communicator who is both approachable and a good listener; also, diplomatic & assertive.
- Proactive, professional, and personable.

Working under supervision, you will:

- Assist with the preparation of pre-construction information.
- Review construction phase plans, risk assessments and method statements.
- Provide advice to contractors on CDM2015.
- Set up projects and provide administrative support.
- Working under direction to assist in the delivery of the Principal Designer duties.
- Undertake site inspections and monitoring visits to determine health & safety compliance.
- Ability to ensure projects are completed efficiently and within assigned resource profile.
- Support the Senior Staff as required.
