**About You**

As a packaging technologist, you will have experience of using quality tools such as Exponentially-weighted moving average (EWMA), Statistical Process Control (SPC), Centre lining and Process Capability Studies to ensure statistically valid Packaging Material, Primary and Secondary Pack and Pallet specifications are met.

You will have experience of working on the implementation of new packaging projects including factory acceptance trials and roll out of new packaging formats and finishes.

You will be an integral part of our Baby Care UK Business providing leadership and coordination for Local Packaging Development and Maintenance activity working closely with Regional Packaging Developers, Procurement and Mill Packaging Engineers in order to help us to achieve our business objectives around Innovation and Cost Transformation.

At Kimberly Clark we focus heavily on 'think customer' so you will participate in initiatives that aim to improve consumer satisfaction & where necessary lead projects to eliminate/reduce pack design sources of consumer dissatisfaction or complaint. This will be aided by your desire to represent the interests of the customer /shopper/chooser/user by interfacing with Marketing and Quality.

**The Role**:
We are looking for someone who has sufficient experience within a similar role. Relevant experience must include packaging, manufacturing and logistics insight

You will be fluent in spoken and written English, be able to demonstrate working in teams to effectively collaborate in a multifunctional environment and have proven leadership capabilities.

A minimum standard of a Bachelor or similar university degree in a Technical field.

Experience using quality tools such as; Statistical Process Control, Centre lining and Process Capability Studies.

You must have the right to work in the UK and be living in the area as we are unable to provide relocation for this position.

**Working in Flint**

Flint; in the county town of Flintshire, is located on the River Dee in North Wales, approximately 202 miles north-west of London and 12 miles north-west of Chester. The town has a population of around 16,500, and is a busy town which at one-time was an important port. There are some notable historic buildings, including the remains of its 13th-century castle which was largely destroyed during the Civil War, and it is a good base from which to explore the North Wales coast and, inland, the Vale of Clwyd and Clwydian Range.

The Kimberly-Clark Flint facility is situated in an area of outstanding beauty, with excellent links to Liverpool, Manchester & Chester. You are also only a short drive from Liverpool and Manchester airports which service the rest of the UK and most of Europe.
