This project will work with Ian Greener, in the School of Social Science, to develop interactive stories based on decolonisation and accounts of the experience of student life in Aberdeen from our students. The project will help the Intern develop skills in a narrative games engine such as Twine or ink (training for which will be organised by Ian), collaborating with students involved in the project to translate the findings into games which will communicate the experiences in an interactive form.

If you are passionate about equality and diversity, and would like to develop a new skill in presenting the stories of the experiences of Aberdeen students in an interactive form, we’d love to hear from you. This collaborative project aims to create interactive, web-based stories based on what it’s like to be a student coming to Aberdeen from outside of Scotland, and will give you the opportunity to help us better understand experiences and the challenges that are faced located within a wider context as to how we can better understand decolonisation.

Salary will be at the appropriate point on Grade 2, £21,134 per annum.

Job Reference Number**:INT2302S**
- The School of Social Science embraces a diverse working environment and recognises the many benefits this can bring. Applications from individuals from across all of the equality protected characteristics are encouraged._
