**Trainee Installer**

Alitex Ltd, established in 1952, is a thriving family business specialising in designing and manufacturing world-class aluminium greenhouses. We are recruiting for a Trainee Installer to join our Installation Team. This position would suit a self-motivated and driven individual looking to develop and grow both within the role and personally. You will have the opportunity to travel around the UK and internationally to construct our glasshouses.

**About the Role**
- Working with the current installation team to build knowledge and expertise across the Alitex range. Using best practices to complete projects efficiently and accurately.
- To take ownership of both personal and team safety, always adhering to health and safety requirements.
- Working in different environments and conditions whilst maintaining effectiveness, safety, and quality.
- Representing the business in a professional and personable manner at all times. Building & maintaining working relationships with all members of the team and where necessary the wider business.
- To be mindful of the company values in everything you do.

This is a permanent full-time position. 44 hours/Mon to Friday and some weekend work as required.

**Salary**:£21,000 - £23,000 per annum depending on experience.

**Required Skills**:

- Ability to work as part of a team, follow instructions and take initiative when necessary.
- Interest in working with aluminium or within an engineering/construction environment.
- A keen eye for detail and a high standard of finish.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Hold a full driving licence.

- Alitex is based in a rural location near Petersfield in Hampshire, with limited access to public transport.

- 22 days holiday per annum, extending to 24 after 1 year’s service.
- You will have monthly development meetings with your line manager.
