**SITE SERVICES - MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT**

**The role**

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of the Site Services team. You will be instrumental in providing support with on-going maintenance and small projects of works. You will carry out maintenance requests ensuring the upkeep of the fabric of the buildings and grounds are maintained to a high standard. We would expect you to be be customer-focused and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Of particular interest are strong plumbing knowledge, ground works and plastering skills but this is not essential if you have other experience in the building / maintenance industry. Ideally you will also have a craft /technical qualification.

This role would suit someone who may have worked in a facilities team within an education setting, such as a school or college but other backgrounds will be considered. We also need you to have a full driving licence as you may be required to drive our college vehicles.

This is a full time role (37 hours a week) working weekdays, although you may be asked to help in the evenings / weekends if necessary to cover absences and special events.
