Marketing Coordinator (Commercial Specialist)

Job Profile:
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the surgical equipment evaluation process and external promotional events, providing a seamless experience for internal and external customers with full ownership and alignment of all related processes. E.g., Evaluation is part of the sales process whereby we place machines and consumables into hospitals for the HCP’s (Healthcare Professionals) to assess our technology.

This role offers a hybrid element of marketing and organising logistics, this will give you the opportunity to coordinate diaries, manage compliance documentation and track tools in relation to evaluation equipment.

You will be required to travel to customer facing events and demonstrating a customer centric mindset. (Expected travel 30%)

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Marketing Associate to join a talented team, committed to outstanding results showing high levels of collaboration, innovation and customer focus. A typical day in this role will include:

- Publishing weekly update on evaluation equipment movements
- Arranging delivery and installation of evaluation equipment and consumables into hospital sites
- Liaising with the Technical Service department to ensure all equipment is kept fully maintained and upgraded.
- Any other duties or projects as requested by the Line Manager commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility for this role, for which the associate has the necessary experience and/or training
- 360 mapping of evaluation process and implement improvements.
- Managing administrative and logístical requirements for external promotional events (alignment with marketing)
- Ensuring correct allocation of budget, personnel and equipment for each event
- Measurement of ROI for all activities
- Management of compliance processes associated with evaluations and promotional events
- Reviewing of HCP engagements and compliance monitoring

What you’ll bring to Alcon:

- University degree qualification or equivalent is desirable but not essential
- Experience working within a sales or a marketing team
- Experience of managing projects and events
- Experience of writing reports, procedures, and business correspondence
- Ability to interpret, prioritise and manage a variety of instructions provided in written, verbal or schedule form
