**APPRENTICE PIPEFITTER**
**The apprenticeship**
**Health, Safety & Quality**
- Responsible for passing a CSCS (H&S) test.
- Responsible for attending site inductions, reading the site safety procedures and adhering to all safety instructions.
- To work with and take direction from an Integral Supervising Operative.
**Education**
- Qualifications required; minimum GCSE grade 5 in Maths, English & Science
- Will attend day-release at Cambridge Regional College for the hours required.
- Driving licence and reliable car essential (travel time & costs paid to BESA Ts&Cs)
**Site Work**
- Will shadow an Integral pipe fitter to gain all the necessary experience over the 3 year apprenticeship
- Responsible for attending site at the times required, with a positive & constructive attitude.
- Responsible for striving to achieve the targets set by the Integral Supervising Operative in a safe and efficient manner.
**Desired skills, experience & qualifications**:
- Ability to work carefully, methodically and safely
- Ability to prioritise work and manage a number of tasks concurrently
- Ability to complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner when working under pressure
- Good written and verbal communication
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders to resolve problems
- Organised and ability to time-manage work load
