**Commercial Finance Business Partner**

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a respected and high performing commercial finance function in a well-known and established business based in central Liverpool.
The successful Commercial Finance Business Partner will have a wealth of business partnering experience and the ability to work with commercial and operations to drive business performance. This is a key role focusing on business partnering the commercial functionon profitability analysis, and business cases.
The Commercial Finance Business Partner reports into the Head of Finance in Liverpool and will be responsible for business partnering two Commercial directors and their teams to support them in delivering revenue and profit for the UK business. They will aidin the delivery of the business’s objectives and targets through pro-actively evaluating and challenging business performance and margin control, adding value to and influencing decision-making by recommending solutions and options.

Our client has modern offices based in central Liverpool but has embraced hybrid working and there is an expectations for employees to be in the office for 2 days per week.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Working alongside the Head of Finance and working in partnership withthe commercial team to drive business performance.
- Providing insight and support using both financial and non-financial data and KPI’s, as well as challenging the commercial function on performance, future plans and outlook.
- Lead role in the tender process, ensuring best practice is followed across all areas.
- Business partnering support to the Commercial teams providing support for monthly variances, budgeting and forecasting, and ad-hoc analysis.

**Key Experience**
- Accounting qualification ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to both constructively challenge and influence at all levels
- Business partnering a commercial function, with particular experience in tender processes or business cases and financial analysis.
- Be a strong all-rounder with demonstrable track record in commercial analysis and evaluation and business planning / evaluation
