Year 3 Primary teaching role for Maternity Cover Contract
**Your new company**A South Gloucestershire Primary school are currently looking Teacher for a Year 3 Teacher on a Full-time basis. It is a 2 form entry school in the BS16 area of Bristol, dedicating it's time to ensuring pupils are taught in an inclusive and positive environment.Focusing on both delivering the national curriculum to a high standard and ensuring all pupils are encouraged to become well rounded individuals, you will be working alongside a team of friendly and passionate teaching staff.
**Your new role**Starting in term 5, you will be working as a full-time teacher to cover Maternity Leave. In this fixed term contract role, where you will be expected to plan, prepare and teach a Year 3 class for 5 days per week with half a day allowed for PPA. You will beworking with the help of an experienced Teaching Assistant in a class of approximately 28 pupils.
**What you'll need to succeed**:
- Have teaching experience within the last 5 years
- Experience teaching KS2 desirable.
- Hold a UK Qualified Teachers Status
- Have strong communication skills, especially when working with groups of children.
