We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Officer to join our team.

You will:

- Support the effective and compliant management and monitoring of the Council’s key contracts, supporting the Procurement Manager and Principal Procurement Officer in undertaking, reviewing, and adapting the procurement process.
- Provide effective arrangements to monitor and analyse key supplier performance, maintaining accurate records, systems and dealing with enquiries.
- Provide an advisory and support service to Service Managers across the Council in undertaking procurement activities as directed by the Procurement Manager and Principal Procurement Officer.
- Support the management and administration of the e-tendering software, dealing with supplier enquiries and problems, quality assuring the information and ensuring compliance with procurement regulations.

You will have experience of undertaking procurement exercises and have or be working towards a qualification in procurement.
