Our client has a large, expanding portfolio of work across a range of sectors and projects, including major infrastructure and transportation, strategic and regeneration residential schemes, energy & resources, and nationally significant projects, providing you with an exciting and diverse range of projects to work on.

You will be joining their growing Ground Assessment team in Newcastle, which offers geo-environmental and geotechnical services, and works on water company frameworks, infrastructure and community development projects within multidisciplinary teams, from preliminary design through to construction.

**Role**
- You will provide site and office-based support to site assessment works including groundwater monitoring programmes, site investigations and environmental remediation works.
- There will also be opportunity to support other technical teams to diversify your technical experience and facilitate your professional growth.

**Requirements**:

- Degree qualified in a relevant engineering or science discipline (e.g. geology, hydrogeology, chemistry, environmental science
- Minimum 2 years' relevant industry background.
- Willing to work towards membership of a relevant institution such as the ICE.
- Previous background of working for an environmental consultancy or with an environmental contractor would be an advantage.
- Able to work independently and within a team.
- Full UK driving licence and will be willing to travel throughout the UK on occasion.
