**Position Overview**:
We are currently seeking a skilled Pedestrian Tower Crane Operator to join our team in Brighton. The Pedestrian Tower Crane Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining tower cranes on our construction sites, ensuring safe and efficient lifting operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate a pedestrian tower crane to lift and move materials and equipment on construction sites.
- Follow safe operating procedures and comply with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards.
- Perform pre-operational checks and inspections of the crane to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with the site supervisor, crane coordinator, and other team members to coordinate lifting activities.
- Rig loads and attach them to the crane hook using appropriate lifting accessories and techniques.
- Monitor crane operations closely to identify and address any potential hazards or issues.
- Maintain accurate records of crane operations, including lift plans, logbooks, and equipment inspections.
- Perform routine maintenance on the crane, such as greasing, lubricating, and adjusting components, to ensure its safe and reliable operation.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Pedestrian Tower Crane Operator in the construction industry.
- Valid CPCS or NPORS certification for operating tower cranes.
- Thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations related to crane operations.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and a focus on safety.
- Physical fitness and stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
