**The Role**:
Are you a self-starter who is results-driven? And have the knowledge and experience of working with framework agreements? then we need you We’re searching for the newest member to join our hard-working, flexible and growing team of Procurement experts. As a Procurement Specialist, you will need to lead in the oversight of site-specific purchases, delivering the optimal cost of ownership for the business, in line with InterGen’s Procurement Methodology. **Please note, due to the nature of the role this position is a two year fixed term contract.**

**The Rocksavage Team**:
The Rocksavage team consists of 35 highly skilled and experienced individuals, all focused on continually improving the way we operate, maintain, and manage the plant. Our Reliability Improvement Program has become one of the key drivers in improving how we work. **Role Summary**:

- Work with our stakeholders to develop new ways of working which often involve transformation of supply chains supporting the business and new approaches to procurement along with changes to business processes.
- Optimized use of Oracle JDE procurement software, electronic invoicing, e-Sourcing, Supplier Diversity, Reconciliations, Reporting, etc.
- Market Analysis - predominantly desktop research into potential providers, capabilities, current technologies available etc. which can be used to inform the approach to take for a procurement.
- Procurement Planning - working with the site team to understand forecasted procurement activity and how this is to be resourced.
- Supplier Segmentation - supporting analysis and generating summary reports which will inform how a portfolio of suppliers can best be managed.
- Active monitoring/management of supply risk, ensuring the services/goods is received on time and to the right quality.
- Work closely with the Plant Support function to have a seamless process in place for stock replenishment & tracking of goods in.
- Support the M&R Manager with Business Planning & Budget Reporting

You will have robust problem solving and analytical skills along with well-developed written and verbal skills. You need to have the ability to manage a wide range of supplier relationships, from short term tactical ones to long term strategic partnerships. Your strong negotiation and decision-making skills partnered with your commitment to driving value for money, will be essential to balancing conflicting interests in this role.

Bonus points if you have experience with JD Edwards Procurement systems

**Education/Experience**:
You will hopefully have a minimum of 3 years combined industry/purchasing experience and ideally you have (or are working towards) full CIPS CCP, CPPM, CPPC or similar membership - but this is not essential.

Your experience should include Category Management & Category Strategy Development knowledge, a background in make vs buy decisions for capital projects along with the ability to carry out market analysis. A range of management skills are required including supplier relationships, commercial risk, contract, inventory, and project management. Your experience should also include previous exposure to the Achilles Contractor Management Platform.
