**Maintenance Planner**

Based: Sheffield
Days, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours)

A leading FMCG Manufacturing business in Sheffield is seeking a Maintenance Planner to work within their site Engineering & Maintenance team on a permanent basis.

This is a varied admin support & planning role where you would be part of a well-established maintenance team. **Purpose of the Role**:
To provide an efficient and proactive support service to the engineering maintenance management team. Controlling and maintaining a planned preventative maintenance work system. Procurement of department spares and services using the internal PO system. Liaising with suppliers and accounts payable with respect to invoices and payments. General administrative duties for the department.

**Maintenance Planner - Core Key Accountabilities**:

- Service related data collection and data input for the Main-Saver CMMS system. Generate performance per plant including B.I interrogation.
- Production of weekly and monthly KPI graphs and spreadsheets, including issuing and displaying within department.
- General administrative support work for the maintenance department and the site engineering manager.
- Carrying out order placing and general system purchasing functions as required, to support the procurement of engineering parts and services.
- Liaising with suppliers and accounts payable to manage payment of suppliers to the business’s best advantage.
- Ownership of department Service Contracts, to ensure renewals are carried out in a timely fashion.
- Upkeep of Contractor CBT tracker system, including safe contractor system and regular updates issued to department.
- To maintain the department training matrix, and records continually updating for any course held or briefs/toolbox talks carried out.
- Ownership and upkeep of holiday tracker system for department including regular updates to team.
- Administration of a Return to Work monitoring system for department to satisfy customer technical requirements.
- To maintain good communication links within the department. Sharing information, managing and ownership for communication methods

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:
Strong computer skills are essential, good organisational skills, ability to communicate with people at all levels in a professional manner. Knowledge of purchase order systems such as SAP etc would be advantageous.
