**VARIOUS BACKSHIFT POSITIONS AVAILABLE**:
**MONDAY TO FRIDAY: 2PM - 10PM**

**Low Risk Production Operative**

**Reports to**: Low Risk Manager and Supervisor

**Overall purpose**: To implement and follow all food safety and hygiene procedures, ensure quality assurance standards and best practice is adhered to at all stages of production

**Main Activities**:

- Working to complete agreed production targets.
- Assisting in the process of storing, defrosting, packing and cooking products.
- Ensure that quality assurance standards/measures are adhered to in order to ensure food safety and best practice at all stages of production (e.g. hygiene, temperature checks, correct labelling, stock rotation).
- Agree performance measures and quality assurance processes with team members that will clarify output and quality expectations.
- Maintain a pro-active, positive attitude to working in a department in which work needs may change rapidly in line with changing production targets.
- Attend team reviews of performance to agree with the Team Leader, Supervisor and Manager areas for improvement and actions required.

**High Risk Production Operative**

**Reports to**: High Risk Manager and Supervisor

**Overall purpose**: To implement and follow all food safety and hygiene procedures, ensure quality assurance standards and best practice is adhered to at all stages of production.

**Main Activities**:

- Implementing and adhering to all food safety and hygiene procedures.
- Loading joints to be sliced
- Vac packing meat products ready to be oven cooked.
- Operating slicing/packing machinery.
- Cleaning and sanitizing machinery and workstations

**Competencies**:

- Knowledge and experience of the meat/food industry _desirable_
- An understanding of industrial food machinery.
- Flexibility to work overtime as and when needed.
- An enthusiasm to develop own skills
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate _highly desirable._
