Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for one year in the first instance.

Applicants must have a PhD in Astrophysics or a related field by the start date of the fellowship. For this call, we particularly welcome expressions of interest from observers and theorists with interests in supernova cosmology.

Kavli Institute Fellows are expected to develop research objectives and conduct collaborative scientific research, write up research work for publication and presentations, and may be involved in one or more of the various research projects associated with the Kavli Institute. Fellows may be requested to assist with the supervision of graduate students and outreach activities as requested by the Director of the Kavli Institute. Excellent communication and computing skills are required.

Expression-of-interest deadline date: 7 June 2023

Expressions of interest should be limited to one A4 page (with minimum font size of 11pt). Applicants should outline their prior research experience, why they are interested in this opportunity and how their research programme would enhance activities at KICC in the area of supernova cosmology.
