Temporary Data Protection Assistant

**Employment Type**: Part-Time (2/3 days per week - total 12 hours per week)
- **What is the role?**_

Working with colleagues and other senior managers, your role will involve ensuring data protection laws and regulations and data protection risks are managed effectively.
- **What will you be doing here?**_
- Deal with any complaints received from customers relating to the processing of their personal data.
- Check the identity of the person making the request.
- Liaise with various departments across the business to collect and collate the data (including CCTV footage and telephone recordings).
- Provide a copy of the data in the format requested.
- Deal with any requests within one month.
- Deal with any complaints received from the ICO and lead investigations as required.
- You will positively support activities that help promote our new culture and behaviours.

- Experience of working with data protection laws and practices.
- Experience of working in a regulated environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Good administrative skills.
- Strong IT skills.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Strong sense of credibility and gravitas.
- Works with consistency, discretion and integrity.
- Flexible and works collaboratively.
- **Qualifications and other requirements**_
- Knowledge of DPA 2018, GDPR and interest in data protection and privacy regulations

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
