**Equans is looking for a Painter to join our team in EDF Hartlepool Power Station on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, and benefits package.**

**Monday to Friday**:
4 day week

**What will you deliver?**:
To carry out preparation and painting tasks (water and oil based paints) both internally and externally on site via the use of brushes, rollers etc.

**Who are we looking for?**:
Knowledge of the principles, methods and techniques used in the painting trade.

Awareness of risk assessment and working safely with equipment, knowledge of preparation techniques and use of painting materials and tools, ability to read and interpret drawings, plans and follow both verbal and written work instructions.

Use and maintenance of the tools of the painting trade safely and skilfully.

The ability to erect and work from ladders and scaffolds safely.

Qualifications: City and Guilds in Painting 6217 (preferred)
