**Location: Chelmsford, Essex**

**Salary: £24,000 - £36,000 DOE**

**Overview**:
First Military Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Sculptor/Model Maker to join our client’s very successful business in Chelmsford.

Our client is keen to employ ex-military personnel such as Royal Engineers with a construction trade or highly qualified Plasterers with strong experience within this line of work.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- You will be joining a team of skilled sculptors, modelmakers and master fabricators who are specialists in the design, manufacture & installation of the very finest quality plasterworks. Who offer unparalleled service and quality in bespoke design and unique origination, the finest classic mouldings, architectural features and historic restorations.
- You will be carrying out works on bespoke, residential, commercial and restoration projects.
- You will be responsible for producing sculptures and architectural models from drawings using clay and a variety of other materials. The models include, Arches, Ceiling Roses, Fluted Columns, Plain Columns, Corners, Rails, Decorations, Panel Moulds and Corbels.
- You will be working alongside other trades professionals to complete projects to the highest standard.

**Skills and Experience**:

- A good health and safety knowledge.
- A good attitude & strong work ethic.
- Plasterer qualification/experience.
- A knowledge/experience of sculpting classical architectural details would be ideal but not necessary.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£36,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Chelmsford, Essex: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
