Workshop Foreman

**Thomas Plant Hire are looking to recruit an experienced, hands-on Workshop Foreman at our office site in Llandarcy, Swansea.**

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a family owned & run company that has successfully grown nationwide and continues to grow rapidly. As a Senior Plant fitter/Engineer you will be overseeing the day to day running of the workshop & organising workloads for other fitters.

**Our Foreman’s can**:

- Manage our fitters within the workshop.
- Service, inspect and carry routine maintenance of heavy plant machinery.
- Diagnose faults using your experience and knowledge gained.
- Manage health & safety for the workshop, yard and staff working off-site.
- Ensure that all repairs/inspections and maintenance is completed to a high standard.
- Support customers with solutions quickly & effectively

To be successful in the role of Workshop Foreman, you will have previously worked in positions such as Workshop Supervisor, Leading Hand, Chargehand, Assistant Workshop Manager, Mobile Plant Fitter or Service Manager.

**Hours of work**:

- Monday - Friday 07:30 - 17:30 (flexibility required)
- Saturday 07:30 - 12:00 - Rota as required
