House Clearing & Waste Disposal Operative Required.

Are you looking for a ‘hands-on’ job where you’re up and about rather than stuck at a desk? Do you enjoy being part of a small and friendly team? Would you like to work for a family-run waste business? If so B8 Waste Services might just be the company for you.

The role will involve travelling so it is vital you have a full clean UK driving licence.

Due to insurance purposes all applicants must be 25 or over to drive our vehicles.

Good customer service skills Required

Experience of manual handling

Have the ability to work under instruction or work unsupervised

You must also be Motivated and driven

Job Responsibilities Include:
Lead driver on collections

Assisting other drivers with collections

Travelling to customers houses to remove desired items/ waste

Lifting and loading different waste streams onto our vehicles

Unloading waste and segregating for recycling

Communicating effectively within the workplace

Adhering to all health and safety rules and regulations

Ensure routine collection of waste from designated areas are processed in a safe and effective manner

Maintain good housekeeping and safe storage of all wastes

Complete daily vehicle and weekly equipment check sheets

Routine liaison with Contract Manager or deputy on operational and safety aspects of work

Whilst every effort has been made to explain the main duties and responsibilities of the post, each individual task undertaken may not be identified and the post holder may reasonably be expected to undertake other duties commensurate within the level of responsibility that may be allocated from time to time

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £9.50-£10.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
