We are currently recruiting for a Band 5 Finance Officer on behalf of the BSO.

The postholder will assist in the preparation and production of financial information and statements and the development of financial control systems to meet the requirements of the Strategic Planning and Performance Group (SPPG), Public Health Agency (PHA) and its external stakeholders. The postholder will assist in the preparation and production of regular and ad hoc financial information in line with required timescales. The postholder will assist in the development of financial information to promote good financial management within the SPPG, PHA and external stakeholders.

Located in the Finance Dept, 3rd Floor Linenhall Street, Belfast

Working pattern will be 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday; Hybrid working also in place (3 days office base and 2 days home working)

This contract will be until the end of October 2023 with the possibility of further extension.

Salary will be £13.84.
- A university degree or relevant professional qualification _**and**_ _1 year’s recent finance experience*,_
- **OR**_
- 3 year’s recent finance experience*._
- Recent finance experience is defined as having worked in a financial role within a Finance Department._

Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. This criterion will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport approved by The Organisation which will permit them to carry out the duties of the post.
