Lead Brewer

**Lead Brewer**
The Lead Brewer will use their brewing expertise and knowledge of our brewery operations to help ensure production goals are met while maintaining the highest quality standards. This position will require both close collaboration with the wider business, self-direction, and the leading of other team members.
**Key responsibilities**
The role will entail but not be limited to:
- Fully understand all processes at EBF. Provides cross-training opportunities by covering job duties for others within our cidery business.
- Drives process improvements
- Promotes a clean and organised workspace
- Operating our 48HL Simatec Brewhouse.
- Cellaring operations in the brewery.
- Performs regular preventive maintenance on brewing equipment
- Routine lab testing as well as various quality improvement projects
- Ensure that SOPs are being followed in daily operations. Edit and adjust SOPs as needed
- Manage EBF’s Pilot Brewing System and NPD projects
- Assists in raw materials acquisition and maintaining inventory
You will be able to demonstrate
- A passion for our beer, craft beer in general, and the wider industry
- Extensive demonstrable experience in commercial breweries
- Demonstrates a growth mindset
- Brewing Degree/Diploma
- Strong technical knowledge of beer production
- Ability to lead and manage a team
- Positive and committed attitude and strong communication skills
- Diligent record keeping and organisational skills
- Able to work both independently and within a team to accomplish tasks
- A commitment to keeping a clean and safe working environment
- Legal right to work in the UK
**Desirable**
- Full UK driving licence
- Forklift Licence
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
