We have a new vacancy for a General Operative to join our team at our Callow Blockworks in Cheddar.

To operate as a member of a multi-skilled production team producing concrete products. The factory operates a 24/5 shift pattern.Must adhereing to our Health & Safety requirements, with continuous commitment to a zero harm culture, be enthusiastic and highly motivated. Excellent communication and team working skills are essential and experience within the industry would be preferable. The ability to be flexible is an advantage. **FLT license at least B1 would be highly preferable.**

You will be required to operate and maintain automated block making equipment, including driving forklift trucks and the loading shovel,. Other key responsibilities of the General Operative will include: Ensuring excellent housekeeping around site, manage incoming materials, quality check all manufactured product, ensure planned preventative maintenance is undertaken as directed and assist during breakdown situations.
