We have a new exciting opportunity as a Case Worker in the Youth Justice Service.

As a Case Worker in Achieving for Children you will be working with Prevention, Early Intervention and Statutory clients. Completing a comprehensive written assessment of the child and their family, identifying an individualised intervention plan, helping and supporting them to reduce the risks of further anti-social or offending behaviour.

**This is a part time role and salary advertised will be pro rata.**

About the role

This brilliant multi agency team work with the children, young people and their families, developing individualised plans to help support them make positive changes and reducing the risk of anti-social or offending behaviour. Core activities as a Case Worker include:

- Undertaking detailed and thorough written assessments.
- Developing bespoke intervention plans to meet the needs of the child and family.
- Completing direct work with children, young people and their families, in a one to one or group setting.
- Work with our Prevention, Early Intervention and Statutory Services.

About you

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual that is educated to a degree standard in a relevant field which can include but not exclusive to social work, criminology, law, psychology or sociology.

To be the Case Worker, you will be passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people as well as demonstrating the following qualities:

- Knowledge of the Criminal Justice System in relation to children and young people.
- Strong organisational abilities including: time management, creative-thinking, problem-solving and multitasking.
- Experience of building and maintaining successful relationships, including with children, young people, families and professionals.
- Strong communication skills and liaising with different audiences.
