Selective Recruitment Group are working with a well-established organisation in Didcot. They are looking for a Legacy Officer to provide support on a temporary basis.

**Job Title: Legacy Officer**

**Location: Didcot**

**Salary: £24,490 to £29,058 (Pro-rata)**

**Contract: Temporary (4 to 6 Months)**

**Hours: 28 hours per week**

**What will you be doing as a Legacy Officer?**
- Deal with all aspects of legacy administration, including correspondence and duties in respect of closed files, ensuring the client receives the maximum amount due under the legacy
- Check and recalculate estate accounts
- Maintain the legacy register and calculating the monthly pipeline
- Calculate the year end pipeline for inclusion in the annual financial statements
- Work in accordance with the legacy delegation policy
- Work within the Supporter Engagement Team, the finance team and cross-functionally with other teams to achieve objectives
- Work in accordance with the Clients' values, policies and procedures
- Steward good relationships with legacy pledgers, intenders and solicitors
- Respond to individual enquiries, requests and complaints from supporters, executors and solicitors with a focus on excellent supporter care
- Develop the Clients' legacy and in-memory fundraising strategy further and implement it, reflecting an understanding of the Client's typical supporter and their beliefs about giving as an expression of their faith
- Create a new legacy and in-memory product

- Ability to work independently, self-teach, work under pressure and prioritise to achieve tight, competing deadlines across multiple projects, and to work flexibly in a small multi-disciplinary team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a mature and professional phone-manner
