About the Role
We’re looking for a Head of Bars
to join the leadership team at our Minehead resort

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for our bar’s venues and
licensing across the resort. Managing the day-to-day running of the department as
regards team, rotas and general activities along with brand standards and
health & safety policies.
About the role
Leading a team of direct
managers and around 80 team you should have a real passion for leading by
example and inspiring others to deliver experiences that truly delight our
guests. You should be a real advocate for your team’s fulfilment at work,
ensuring that you are having regular 121's and PDP discussions to support their
development and career with Butlin’s. You will manage your budget closely,
driving your team to deliver KPIs based on sales and costs in line with our
business plan and reviewing this regularly to identify areas of opportunity and
risk. This will also involve working closely with our Operational Teams to
project guest demand and team requirements accordingly.
You will be responsible for
driving and identifying opportunities for financial success, guest service and
team engagement and nurture an environment that allows all teams to perform at
their best by setting clear goals.
As with all roles at Butlin’s, no day will be the same and you
will need to enjoy thinking on your feet, getting stuck in, and ensuring that
our guest experience is always your number one priority.
About You
We are looking for an experienced leader with strong operational experience across our
bar’s venues.
You should have the ability to
lead, motivate and engage your team, even at periods of high demand. You
will also have the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to
changing requirements.
With strong
leadership skills, you should be confident in inspiring your team to deliver
amazing results for our teams and guests every day.
Experience
Experience in leading exceptional customer service workforce
Strong management & leadership skills to lead large teams within the bars department.
Relationship management skills
Results driven.
Drive team consistently demonstrate customer service, up selling techniques and a knowledge of current promotions.
Demonstrate a problem-solving attitude across all departments.
Maximise sales activities and share best practise across our three Resorts.

Business
Focus
Deliver the strategy with specific product options.
Manage
Suppliers relationships to deliver on business needs.
Manage
KPIs by based on sales & costs, identifying any Business risks.
Lead the way with Retail operations with a focus on systems & process.
Manage a budget based on the previous year’s figures, analyzing possible future scenarios and demonstrating an incremental growth.
Ensure your teams are delivering excellent customer service to meet business standards and achieve targets.
Proactively seek opportunities for continuous improvement

Leading
a team
To lead a team and drive operational excellence.
Develop a clear strategy to ensure best practices are rolled-out to meet business needs.
Champion and influence technology to drive key performance measures.
Drive a high performing team culture.
Build a plan to manage team engagement survey results.

As with all
roles at Butlin’s, you should enjoy a fast-paced environment and working in an

will be required to support our operation in this role.
