**Vanta Staffing High Wycombe** are looking for a **Senior Buyer** to work in a buy office in High Wycombe.

Permanent Role

Monday to Friday 8.45am-4.45pm

£30-£35K

**Duties of the Senior Buyer**:

- Negotiate pricing, quantities and delivery of materials with suppliers
- Looking at cost savings
- Drive/Forecast supply and purchase order demand
- Coordinating the flow of materials and products through the supply chain
- Coordinating stock control operations with warehouse staff, as well as the sales and finance
departments
- Ensure materials are purchased in a timely manner
- Manage all aspects of inventory management and service levels relating to a portfolio of
suppliers and products to meet customer demand.
- Issuing out enquiries and analysing quotations
- Determine the best sources of supply for each product or service needed by the company,
based on price, quality, delivery time, and other criteria
- Provide Procurement / commercial input into cross-functional teams that effectively
teamwork
- Identify at an early-stage potential problems and risks, evaluating and anticipating
implications and being proactive with all concerned parties in developing and defining
contingency/recovery plans and actions.
- Undertake regular cost benchmarking reviews on key parts
- Working with a broad range of external suppliers
