Our client is currently operating within Water, Groundworks, Infrastructure, Drainage & Earthworks projects, but have capabilities to offer a diverse service offering to their clients making them one of the faster-growing organisations in the Scottish Market.

**As Site Engineer, you will work closely with the Civils Construction Manager and Site Manager and will be responsible for**:
Setting out
- Initial survey and site investigation work.
- Implementing strategies as discussed with management.
- Checking design plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
- To contribute to the management of the construction works.
- To assist in the re-measurement and valuation of the contract.
- Assist with new tendering opportunities, surveys, bulk earthworks quantities and value engineering.
- Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site
- Develop method statements and risk assessment.
- Supporting the team, and any other site engineering duties as required.
- Educated to a minimum of HNC level in Civil Engineering.
- Previous experience within a civil contracting environment.
- Previous experience working on Sub Station projects desirable.
- CAD Knowledge and knowledge of ground modelling is desirable.
- Experience setting out and surveying is essential.
- CSCS & 3 Day First Aid qualifications would also be advantageous.
- SMSTS or SSSTS required.
- Able to work in various locations across Scotland.
- Full UK drivers license.
