We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join a leading global business services provider focused on modular space, secure portable storage solutions, and remote workforce accommodation management for hire and sale. Applicants willneed to be a qualified accountant with experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) / Finance Business Partner role.

**The role**:
The role is responsible for providing functional support to the rental division senior management team, encompassing sales, operations and service delivery. Key objectives of the role are to ensure appropriate financial focus, rigour, insight and challengein order to identify opportunities and to mitigate risk. The role exists to support internal customers in all finance and accounting matters including budgeting, forecasting and cost control.

**Key Duties**:

- Primary finance support for the Central Operations Region, partnering the Area Director for the region and their teams on all finance related matters.
- Interpretation of monthly management accounts to provide meaningful analysis and commentary against budgets, forecasts and previous years’ performance for the Central region and specific P&L lines for the whole rental business.
- Supporting sales performance by providing analysis and challenge on utilisation of the rental fleet, rental rates, transport rates and additional products for specific depots in order to deliver against budget and forecast targets.
- Support the production of monthly trading and reporting packs to aid presentation of results to the regions and Group.
- Preparation of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets for the Central depots whilst delivering insight and analysis to ensure long term trends are identified and communicated to key stakeholders.
- Monitoring maintenance costs per unit and challenging production efficiency in the end to end yard process to drive an optimal cost per unit type.
- Support the production planning teams with financial data requirements to aid capacity planning.
- Measure and track depot related continuous improvement initiatives ensuring delivery against budget and forecasts.
- Ensure integrity of the item ledger, material consumption usage reconciliations and appropriate recording of all stock take adjustments across all depots.
- Support in the identification and implementation of initiatives across the business including supporting preparation of business cases with robust financial models.
- Support the financial accounting teams by providing operational insight into the month end numbers and by providing supplementary analysis that may be required for external reporting.
- Qualified accountant with experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) / Finance Business Partner role.
- Strong analytical skills & ability to manipulate large data sets
- Confident communicator with the ability to manage a diverse set of senior stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and influence at a senior level
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Hands on, self-motivated with strong commercial acumen
