Alpine F1 Team are looking for an Alpine Esports Assistant Intern to support the development of the esports team, The role will include managing accounts and partners, assisting with new strategy, and working live events.

You will be expected to understand the esports ecosystem and the role sim racing plays in it.

This role is specifically for someone looking to grow within the esports industry, this is not an F1 role.

We are looking for someone who is fluent in English and able to speak French to a good level. (other languages also appreciated).

The Role

The main responsibilities of the role will be:

- Liaise with agencies around social media and additional channels.
- Provide additional support to esports and F1 account managers around esports and gaming topics.
- Support the events team with events involving the use and management of simulators & other gaming equipment.
- Generate new ideas and concepts for social media and events around esports & gaming.
- Explore new avenues for growth for the esports team, including revenue sources.
- Continuous assessment to improve service opportunities.
- Create reports for the Team on Esports & Gaming linked to the Team’s involvement in Esports activities specifically around community, socials & events.
- Overall, develop relationships within other team members to help them understand what we do and obtain their support in promoting the image of our team spirit.
- Key administrative support to Alpine Esports

The Person

We are looking for someone with an understanding of the esports world, who is looking to do a 12-month placement.

This role would suit someone just starting out in their career, or currently studying for a degree in Business and Marketing or Esports.

An understanding of the Esports Business is expected.

Other desirable qualities are:

- Understanding of the motorsport business
- Ability to develop meaningful relationships with partners and team members.
- Strong communication and social skills, confident to talk in public & engage with new community members.
- Proficient knowledge of brand strategy & brand management.
- Knowledge of social media and community platforms.
- Confidence to run & manage live events on small to medium scales.
- Conflict resolution and solution oriented.
- Completed, or, in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in business & marketing/Esports (event management degrees considered).
- Fluent English + a good level of French (other languages are appreciated).
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Strategic & Innovative thinking.
- High level of autonomy.
- Team spirit.
- Curious and knowledgeable.

This role is based in Enstone, UK, although the ability to travel globally may be required.
