Freelance Iqa

EBCF are looking for a Freelance IQA.

Working hours are negotiable.

Essential criteria

Relevant teaching qualifications especially in security.
Competence and experience of working in relevant vocational areas

Knowledge of Internal Quality Assurance processes

You should have knowledge of assessment and verification National Occupational Standards and practices, knowledge of equality & diversity and safeguarding.
You should have a demonstrable ability to communicate effectively to foster improvement and the sharing of good practise and have SMART action planning and report writing skills.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Plan and manage EQA visits and associated activities.
- Cascade information from the External Verifier and awarding bodies as appropriate.
- Carry out internal verification of Apprenticeship and short course provision.
- Identify the training needs of assessors. You will provide staff training and support staff to improve their assessment practise.
- Plan and coordinate standardisation meetings to discuss current verification, assessment issues and to share good practice and knowledge.
- Ensure all assessment documentation maintained by Assessors is complete, up-to-date and legible.
- Maintain up-to-date records of the verification process.
- Ensure all course and delivery materials meet the requirements of the awarding body and internal standards.
- You will produce detailed IQA reports to feedback to staff, with action points when needed.

Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: £20.00 per hour
