Packer Driver

PACKER DRIVER - Early mornings. 37hrs per week_
- Menzies Distribution are looking for a Delivery Driver to join our team. You’ll be working on behalf of Menzies Distribution Limited and its customers, providing a first class service with our team in Derry._

- _The salary for this role is £10.91 per hour_
- _This is a Day position_
- _You will be working 5 mornings out of 6 Monday - Saturday 01.00am - 09.00am_
- _This role is based on a 37 hours per week_
- _This is a permanent position_
- _The amount of drops will vary day to day dependent on what is required to be delivered that day._

DELIVERY DRIVER DUTIES
- Check the quality of packed orders
- Manually unload and upload parcels for delivery (inc pallets)
- Make sure the vehicle is loaded safely and within the legislation
- Ensure parcels are delivered to residential and commercial customers safely, efficiently and on timp
- Ensure security of the vehicle and goods contained during transit
- Complete all documentation as per company procedure
- Keep the warehouse safe, clean and tidy
- Adhere to company procedures and policies

DELIVERY DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
- Held a full and valid UK Drivers Licence for a minimum of 4 years
- No previous disqualifications for NI, DD or DR
- Familiarity with most of the streets and commercial addresses
- Physically fit to meet the demands of a multi-drop driving role
- Hardworking, positive and a flexible attitude to work
- Great customer service skills
