Please note, we are looking for an experienced barista with knowledge of how to use a commercial machine and is comfortable producing high-quality drinks in a high-paced environment.

**Department**:Cafe

**Responsible to**: Café manager, Café Supervisor

**Working with**: FOH team, kitchen team

**Duties**:

- Use weights and measures to adjust the recipe for ‘dialling in’ the coffee.
- Work with the team to provide fast and friendly service and produce.
- Assist in maintaining equipment according to proper health and safety standards.
- Be expected to cross-train and develop in other sites and areas of the business.

**Skills**
- To be able to work under pressure and at high intensity.
- Ability to use café equipment safely and proficiently.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and consistency, produce shots and steam milk with a high level of flavour and latte art.
- Ability to lift, carry, pull and push FOH items.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.

**Staffing and Customer Service**
- Be of a high standard and set a good example with regard to cleanliness and hygiene to be maintained at all times including a regular cleaning schedule.
- Assist in keeping the FOH and storage areas clear, well organised and easy to use.
- Participate in staff meetings and training as and when required.
