Our client, a multi catering site and events venue near Cobham, Surrey is looking for a Sous Chef to join their talented team.
As the Sous Chef you lead from the front with the capability of developing and motivating kitchen teams, with your enthusiasm for quality food and service.
This Sous Chef role will give you the opportunity to assist in developing and evolving the menus, striving to exceed budgeted commercial expectations through a clear understanding of GP and P&L. You will work closely with the Head Chef and head of departmentsto ensure the success of the business. You will also be key to ensuring a high level of quality fresh, local and seasonal food is provided, to build the strength of the reputation.
This is an amazing opportunity for a Chef who really wants to make their mark, have the opportunity to create menus and work with fresh produce.
What we need from you:

- Previous experience as a chef to a similar level with retail and event experience

- Able to work across the different catering areas in the business

- Consistency. The ability to create great food, always being able
to set an excellent example to the rest of the kitchen team
- Proficient in IT, with an understanding of spread sheets
- Driving licence is desirable due to some evening working, but
is not essential
This Sous Chef position offers a good salary of £35K per annum plus great benefits.
