**Monday to Friday**

**Hours: from 18:00 to 02:00 (37,5 hours per week)**

Grafton Recruitment are actively recruiting for a Transport Planner to join our client based in Birmingham.

The successful Transport Planner will have previous experience working within transport industry as a planner and will be required working on the evenings: Monday to Friday from 18:00 to 02:00.

**THE ROLE**:
Some of your responsibilities as Transport Planner are listed below:

- Managing and planning vehicles for collections and deliveries throughout the UK.
- Working as part of the transport team.
- Building and maintaining solid relationships with existing and potential customers and provide the highest level of service.
- Will be compliant in all global forwarding processes and procedures.
- Being responsible for all aspects of Health & Safety in the work place as well as monitoring and enforcing all safe systems of work for drivers to follow.

**THE CANDIDATE**:
The ideal Transport Planner:

- Will have ability to adapt and embrace change while keeping calm in a pressured time driven environment.
- Is a team player and a good problem solver who enjoy the challenges.
- Strong Computer Skills: Microsoft Office (Atlas would be advantageous).
- Has knowledge of Aviation Security regulations.
- Must have a good understanding of current UK legislation to vehicles and drivers hours and vehicle regulations.
- Demonstrating their forward thinking attitude.
- Needs to understand the DVSA, WTD, and UK legislation.

**COMMUTABLE FROM**:
Birmingham, Coventry, Solihull,
